Ellesmere Port & Neston Police News Bulletin
4 to 22 December 2021  
 
If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided.
 
Burglary
Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:

ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Netherpool
  • Overpool Road – Entry via rear window.  Untidy search.
  • St. Pauls
  • Old Chester Road – Side window to property forced open to gain access.  Untidy search carried out.
Incidents reported relating to BUSINESS premises:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • York Road - Unknown offender smashed lower glass window of ‘Farm Foods’ store and stole several legs of lambs.
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Hylton Court –Window smashed.
  • Coliseum Way – Machines within ‘Ten Pin’ damaged by group within premises.
  • Newton Road – Bin and loose refuge set alight.
  • Croft Court – Fencing damaged.
  • Richmond Court – Christmas lights damaged.
  • Dudley Road – During the early hours of the morning an unknown male has entered rear garden, damaging the rear wooden gate to access the lock.
  • Langley Court – Window smashed by golf ball.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Rivacre Road – Childs quad bike set alight.
  • Grange
  • Princes Road – Door to flat damaged.
Theft
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • New Bridges Road – Scott EAPC electric bike, secured in bike shed at college taken.
  • Wellington Road – Trek bike, with large tyres, secured to railing outside ‘Cherry Bank’ taken after lock broken off.
  • Exeter Road – 5 Christmas tree stands taken from front garden.
  • Whitby
  • Chester Road – Black Carrera Vengeance, secured outside Group Practice, next to Hospital taken after lock cut off.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Chester Road – Ventilation canopy removed and taken by unknown offender.
  • Netherpool
  • Gateacre Court – Parcel left outside door to flat taken by female.
  • Poole Hall Road – Unknown offender entered business yard and took a large stainless steel tank from grounds.
  • Rivacre Road – Mobile phone taken from changing room at ‘Vauxhall Sports & Social Club’.
  • St. Pauls
  • Fulwood Road – Parcel taken from outside address.
  • Grange
  • Princes Road – Blue Carrera bike taken from rear garden.
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT OF motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Kinsey Road – Black BMW 523i, SC06 NXF taken from car park of ‘TGI Fridays’. – Vehicle recovered in Birkenhead, Merseyside.
  • Ashfield Road – 2 unknown males attempt to remove a Harley Davidson Street XG, motorcycle.  They arrived on scooters and one has sat upon bike and moved it before the alarm has sounded.  They have then out the bike down and left.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Grange
  • Sutton Way – E-Scooter taken from within college grounds.
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Neston
  • Raby Road – Wing mirrors removed from Nissan Qashqai, Dacia and VW Polo by unknown.
  • Netherpool
  • Moorland Road – Vauxhall Astra SRI has both the front and rear registration plates, showing DU64 CPK taken.
  • Grange
  • Audi A3 has front passenger window smashed with a rock and cash taken from within.
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Stanney Lane – Skoda Yeti taxi has front passenger wing damaged by rock, thrown from nearby group of youths.
  • Rossmore
  • Grafton Road – Jaguar XF, parked at roadside scratched along passenger door and wings.
  • Swale Road – Range Rover left with numerous dents after being hit with a brick.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Neston
  • Raby Road – Dacia Sandero, Nissan Qashqai and VW Polo all have wing mirrors removed by unknown offender.
  • Netherpool
  • Ferguson Road – on two separate occasion during the period of a week Unknown liquid poured over Citroen Xsara and passenger window smashed.
  • St. Pauls
  • Princes Road – BMW 320i, whilst travelling along road,  hit by an unknown object thrown by a group of teenagers, which has caused scratching and denting to the bodywork of the vehicle.
Other incidents of note…
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Wolverham Road – Unknown male approached female from behind and grabbed handbag.  When resistance shown female assaulted. – Male arrested and charged.
  • Heathfield Road – Unknown male approached female and grabbed handbag and ran off along the alleyway. – Named suspect.
