Ellesmere Port & Neston Police News Bulletin
6 to 19 September 2021
If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided.
Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:

  • St. Pauls
  • Red Lion Lane – Home owners woken by a noise downstairs and upon looking through bedroom window see their grey Kia Sportage, LF69 ZGD being driven off the driveway.  Upon checking house handbag, containing purse Nintendo Switch, house keys and car keys taken. – Male arrested*
Incidents reported relating to OUTBUILDINGS/GARDENS:

  • St. Pauls
  • Greenfield Road – Garage entered by unknown means and 2 sun chairs in bags and a large collection of Harris paintbrushes taken.
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Rochester Drive – Having heard a noise, 2 holes found in outer pane of rear bedroom window and hole in the rear door, possibly by an item thrown.
  • Whitby Road – When challenged about urinating near to shop male has become aggressive and damaged the door and window of premises.
  • Rossmore
  • Dock Street – Window smashed in ‘Century House, by a bottle thrown by a group of males who were arguing outside.
  • John Nicholas Crescent – Brick thrown through window.
  • Sutton
  • Tarporley Road – Access gained into communal area of flats due to communal doors always being left open.  Door and frame to flat then damaged.
  • Grange
  • Sutton Way – Old billboard container set alight in grounds next to ‘West Cheshire College’.
  • Camden Road – Window smashed.
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Langley Court – Parcel left at front door taken.
  • Kinsey Road – Whilst shopping at Cheshire Oaks couple have sat down and placed their bags onto a bench.  An unknown male has then picked up some bags and ran off.
  • Victoria Road – Parcel left outside address taken.
  • Jubilee Green – Garden ornaments taken and planters damaged.
  • Whitby
  • Stanney Lane – padlock broken off locker at ‘David Lloyd’ and trousers containing jewellery and bankcards taken.
  • Rossmore
  • Westminster Road – Red and white Apollo and dark blue Kona mountain bikes taken from rear garden.
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Throne Drive – Parcel left on doorstep taken.
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT OF motor vehicles:

  • St. Pauls
  • Red Lion Lane – Grey Kia Sportage, LF69 ZGD stolen after keys obtained during a burglary.– Male arrested*
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

  • Neston
  • The Birches – VW Golf found with driver’s door open. Unknown how entry into vehicle gained but glove box searched through and items left out.  Nothing believed to have been taken.
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Smithy Lane – Volvo XC90 has rear registration plate, showing WG61NHM taken.
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Cheshire Oaks – Peugeot 206 and BMW 330E damaged by group of youths throwing stones near to McDonalds. – Male arrested.
  • Wellington Road – Toyota Yaris, parked in market carpark found with damage to the rear bumper.
  • Langley Court - Chevrolet Orlando has passenger window smashed.
  • Rossmore
  • Rossmore Road West – Motor home set alight.
  • Station Road – Mercedes A180 has brick thrown through window.
  • Grange
  • The Boulevard – Suzuki Ignis, Nissan Duke and Skoda Roomster, all parked on public road, keyed along the sides.
  • Sutton Way – Wing mirror kicked on Mini Cooper causing damage to the casing.
Incidents of note….

  • St Pauls
  • * Male admitted to theft of Land Rover Range Rover, F2 MWL, stolen from Greenfield Road and reported on the last bulletin.
  • Sutton
  • Tarporley Road – Audi A5 S Line, stolen from Stockport, displaying false registration plates, recovered.
