Boughton June 2021

Alert message sent 29/06/2021 10:30:00

Information sent on behalf of Cheshire Constabulary

I just thought I would be in touch regarding the month of June to give you an update as to what has been going on in your area.

Speed enforcement has been carried out on Heath Lane, Sandy Lane, Filkins Lane and Boughton. If there any concerns regarding speeding on any other roads and you would like us to carry some out let us know and I will do my best.

Several shops have been visited regarding an increase of thefts on Boughton and Christleton Road. CCTV has been taken and further enquiries are ongoing into these matters.

Foot patrol has been carried out on a variety of areas due to an increase of reports of drug use in our area. This has been posted on social media each time.

We have seen a decrease in the amount of calls around the Chester Cricket Club around anti-social behaviour. This is due to the goal posts being taken down and no reports have been made since this action was taken.

Visits have been made to the primary school and Nursery speaking to the children and staff and letting them see the police car. This is to help build relationships within the community and other visits will be made in due course.

Thank you for taking the time to read this
