Ellesmere Port & Neston Police News Bulletin

If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided.
 
Burglary
Incidents reported relating to BUSINESS premises:

ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Hooton Road – Unknown male seen on building site of ‘Steward Milne’ walking off with items. Specific details of items unknown at this time.
Incidents reported relating to OUTBUILDINGS/GARDENS:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Whitby
  • Lundy Drive – Entry gained into shed.  Not known at this time if anything taken.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Oakfield Terrace – Windows smashed in shed and entry gained whereby further criminal damage caused inside. 
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Briarfield Road – Brick thrown through window.
  • Bamburgh Court – Small side window to property smashed by group of youths.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Neston
  • Raeburn Avenue – Shop camera damaged by named female.
  • Frobisher Road – Windows smashed.
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Waterworks Lane – ‘Hooton Village Memorial Hall’ has grate pulled off window and glass smashed.
  • St. Pauls
  • Station Road – Cafe at ‘Station House’ has side window smashed.
  • Chester Road – Grass ripped up and damaged by electric bikes on the greens at ‘Ellesmere Port Golf Club’.
  • Grange
  • Tennyson Road – Damage caused to fenced panels at the rear of the property.
Theft
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Rhuddlan Court – Parcel taken from doorstep.
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Church Lane – Blue disability badge, placed on the roof of Volvo C30 whilst shopping unloaded found to have gone on their return to the vehicle.
  • Sutton
  • Rostherne Avenue – Citroen Dispatch entered by unknown means and quantity of power tools taken.  Tools included a plumb saw, chop saw and nail gun.
  • Wycliffe Road – Youths seen trying car door handles in road. Peugeot Partner Van entered but nothing believed reported taken.
  • Hardy Close – Citroen Dispatch entered but nothing reported taken. – Possibly by the same group of youths as above.
  • Pooltown Road – Ford Transit entered via unknown means and rucksack taken.
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Whitby
  • Chester Road – Mercedes E350, parked in car park to rear of ‘Aardvark Vets’ scratched around entire vehicle.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Parkgate
  • The Parade – Wing mirror of Iveco Van knocked off by two passing motorbikes.
  • Netherpool
  • Hillside Drive – Dacia Duster, parked at roadside has rear window smashed.
  • Grange
  • Marbury Gardens – Viper SK 125, parked outside front door of property set alight causing extensive damage to the vehicle.
  • Stamford Street – Chevrolet Captiva scratched along entire passenger side of vehicle.
  • Chester Road – Mercedes 220, parked at roadside has both nearside tyres slashed and rear windscreen smashed.
