Ellesmere Port & Neston Police News Bulletin
17 to 21 May 2021
 
If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided.
 
 Burglary
Incidents reported relating to BUSINESS premises:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Rossmore
  • Rossfield Road – Male walked into ‘BDC Engineering Services’ and having gone through the customer area leaned through in staff only section and removed a set of keys to a grey Mercedes CLA 250, EFC 431A.  The vehicle  then driven off site. – Vehicle recovered parked on parking area in Gleneagles Road.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Netherpool
  • Rossbank Road – Container on the ‘Anwyl Building Site’ broken into and 3 laser levels, 2 pipe lasers and a laptop taken.
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Sutton
  • Sutton Way – Front door to property damaged by unknown means.
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT OF motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Rossmore

  • Poole Hall Road – Silver BMW 325i M Sport, MA07 CZP taken by male on test drive.
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • New Road – Fiat 500, parked on residential road has both the front and rear registration plates, showing WV09 MHM taken.
  • Sutton
  • Hardy Close – Unknown males witnessed trying to gain access into a Citroen Berlingo. Alarm activated and the males ran off. No entry gained into vehicle.
  • Grange
  • Bostock Green – Citroen C1 Splash has front registration plate, showing PL10 HEV taken.
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Harlech Court – Unknown male has jumped over back gate and poured sand into the engine of Keeway RK125 motorbike.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Netherpool
  • Gowy Court - 2 female youths leave alleyway and hit Vauxhall Corsa with a hammer causing damage before running off.
  • Grange
  • Regent Street – Toyota Corolla, parked on residential street keyed along the entire nearside.
  • Cavell Drive – Battery acid or similar thrown over bonnet of Ford Fiesta causing damage to the paintwork.
