Crime update

Alert message sent 20/03/2021 09:26:00

Information sent on behalf of Cheshire Constabulary

Hello all.
Thanks for your continued support as NWS co-ordinators.

She breaks continue to be a problem, the latest being in the Wybunbury area. We always advise that residents check their security and make it as difficult as possible for criminals to gain entry to any outbuildings. Please report any suspicious activity on 101 or 999 if a crime is in progress.

Scams also continue in many forms. Some of the latest include messages that appear to be from the NHS asking for payment for covid jabs. The NHS will never ask for any bank or card details, all jabs are free.

Also watch out for a scam going round from so called BT saying your bill is going up & you need to verify your account as part of their terms & conditions.
It will be from ( .BT Fibre Broadband)  note the dot before BT.
