Knife Crime Awareness Week

Alert message sent 13/11/2020 12:21:00

Information sent on behalf of Cheshire Constabulary

Op Sceptre is a National campaign that helps raise the awareness of knife crime. The Operation aims to target those carrying knives, help to reduce knife related offences and to raise awareness of the dangers of knives.

We are encouraging parents and carers to speak to their children and young people about the dangers of knifes. Due to the current situation with Covid we are unable to go into schools to discuss these issues with our young people but if we all talk openly about the dangers of carrying a knife then we can all help to get the message out.

Do you know someone who carries a knife? Please report any concerns via the non-emergency telephone number 101 or to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
