The group is open to all and is led by trained walk leaders who lead the group at a steady pace around Helsby, walking for approximately 20 to 30 minutes. The group finish with a social get-together for refreshments, for anyone who would like to join them.
People of all abilities are invited to come along and join the walk as well as anyone who may be interested in volunteering on the walk.
The group is part of a new walking initiative co-ordinated by the Total Environment team at Cheshire West and Chester Council in partnership with The Rambler’s Association aiming to bring people together and to get outdoors and active, improving health and wellbeing.
Councillor Louise Gittins, Leader of Cheshire West and Chester Council said: “We have a number of similar walks across the borough, the team are always looking for people to help lead and assist the walks.
