25 August 2021Fancy a new outfit without spending a single penny? The Grosvenor Museum is hosting a free clothes swap on Saturday 25 September, as part of the latest exhibition, 'Curated Closet'. Bring the clothes you no longer wear and trade them for something different.Old clothes can be dropped off and exchanged between 11am and 4pm at the Museum. Clothes for all ages, shapes, sizes and genders are welcome Councillor Louise Gittins, Leader of Cheshire West and Chester Council said: "Not only is there a chance to refresh your wardrobe, but also visit the 'Curated Closet' exhibition, highlighting items from the Grosvenor Museum's extensive costume collection, and to learn about sustainable fashion." For the safety and comfort of visitors and staff the museum encourages the use of face coverings and using the hand sanitiser stations, available in the museum foyer. Visitors may be asked to wait for entry to maintain social distancing. No booking is required, just turn up on the day.
