Council fostering services thank foster carers
21 April 2020Foster4, the Council’s foster carer recruitment service, is celebrating its second birthday by thanking foster carers old and new.
Reaching its second birthday, Foster4 continues to expand - recruiting carers on behalf of the four Cheshire Local Authorities - Cheshire West and Chester, Cheshire East, Halton and Warrington.
Councillor Bob Cernik, Cabinet Member for Children and Families at Cheshire West and Chester Council said: “Over the last year we’ve welcomed 48 new households to our wider fostering community, which is made up of over 600 families who foster with the four local authorities.
“We’re extremely grateful to each and every one of them and so proud of the amazing job they are doing during the current situation to provide love and stability to the children and young people in their care.
“We want to take this opportunity to thank all of our foster carers and look forward to welcoming more local people to become carers as part of our fostering family over the coming year.”
All newly recruited households will receive a thank you email from the Foster4 service as a small gesture of its appreciation.
