18 February to 3 March 2020
  
If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided.
 
Burglary
Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:

ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Rock Farm Drive – Homeowners disturbed by noise downstairs.  Upon checking front door found to be wide open and unknown offenders was running away.  Nothing reported to have been take. – VW Crafter Van, which had been stolen from Upton, Wirral found a few houses down from this property.
  • Rock Farm Grove – Following on from the burglary above local residents have checked CCTV which shows an unidentified person trying door handles at properties on this road also.
  • Sutton
  • Hope Farm Road – Read door forced to gain access to property.  Untidy search made within causing damage to property.
Incidents reported relating to BUSINESS premises:

ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Netherpool
  • North Road – Unsuccessful attempt to prise the lock off a door at premises within ‘Evans Business Park’ to gain access to building.
Incidents reported relating to OUTBUILDINGS/GARDENS:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Kennilworth Court – 3 reports of access gained to rear yard areas and sheds targeted.
    • Entry forced into shed by removing wooden cladding and entering via the hole made. 3 x scrambler bikes and a router power tool taken. Bikes described as 2 x RM scrambler bikes in yellow and black and a green Kawasaki scrambler bike with the number 7 on the side.
    • Entry gained into shed by unknown means and 2 x drills, 2 x jigsaws and 1 x belt sander taken.
    • Shed entered via unknown means and 2 x drills and extensions cable taken.
  • Arundel Court – 2 unknown males pull up outside a garage within the rear parking area and using a sledgehammer attack the padlocks on it.  Disturbed by a member of the public the males leave in the vehicle. 
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Lancaster Gardens – Two neighbouring properties have a number of windows smashed at each property.
  • Somerville Crescent – Brick thrown through bedroom window.
  • Ruddlan Court – Drunken male kicks at front door causing damage. – Male arrested.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Neston
  • Churchill Way – Boundary wall of property damaged, possibly by a vehicle driving into.
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Pennine Walk – Stone ball peer cap pushed off wall.
  • St. Pauls
  • Delamere Drive – Garden fencing kicked causing damage.
  • Walkers Lane – On numerous consecutive nights wooden gate damaged.
  • Sutton
  • Bridge Meadow – Coping stones and bricks removed from wall surrounding ‘Whitby Methodist Church’ by group of youths.
  • Grange
  • Belgrave Drive – Outer pane of glass in double glazed window smashed with a brick.
  • Sutton Way – Window smashed. – Male arrested.
  • Stamford Street – Male from one of neighbouring properties enters secure allotment area and damages recently installed CCTV camera and fixings by shaking its fittings.
Theft
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Kinsey Road – Whilst shopping in ‘Sainsburys’ shoppers personal ipad taken from trolley.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Grange
  • Sutton Way – Carrera Fury mountain bike in navy blue taken.  The bike had a lock around the handlebars, lights and continental tyres.  Closure Summary:
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT OF motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Grange
  • The Boulevard – Vauxhall Zafira, DY56 VPA taken.
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Parkgate
  • North Parade – Vauxhall Meriva, parked on the ‘Old Baths’ car park has front near side window smashed and handbag taken from under the seat.
  • St. Pauls
  • Valley Drive – At some point over last few days rear registration plate, showing DK13 NYP taken from Suzuki Alto.
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Kennilworth Court – Renault Megane, parked in rear parking area to flats has 3 x tyres slashed.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Askrigg Avenue – Over the past few weeks Ford Fiesta targeted for damage. 1st – Stickers removed. 2nd – Bumper cracked. 3rd – Wing mirrors kicked backwards.
  • St. Pauls
  • Delamere Green – Vauxhall Astra has wing mirror broken off.
  • Wilmslow Drive – Fiat Fiorino has side door forced open and key case, containing numerous keys taken.
  • Sutton
  • Northern Rise – Drivers wing mirror kicked off Toyota Yaris.
  • Grange
  • Sutton Way – VW Polo kicked by unknown female causing dent to bodywork.
