scam Warning: DPD Parcel scam
Consumers within the Borough have been receiving emails stating they have missed a delivery of a parcel and they should go through a link in the email to re-schedule the delivery.
If consumers do receive an email from DPD saying they have missed a parcel, then we recommend that they should go through the DPD website (www.DPD.co.uk) or use the DPD phone App instead of clicking the link in the email. This is to avoid email links that may be hazardous to the consumers computer and personal/banking information.
The same advice applies if you receive a text message from DPD regarding a delivery.

If you or somebody you know has been caught out by a scam or fraud please contact one of our specialist officers, Linda or Sue on 0151 511 8785 or 0151 511 8775, who are already working with people in Halton who have lost thousands of pounds to scams.
