Ellesmere Port & Neston Police News Bulletin

25 November to 4 December 2020
  
If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided.
 
Burglary
Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Wellesley Walk – Beading removed from window frame of ground floor window.  Entire glass panel removed to access the property.  Untidy search made. 
  • Penn Gardens - Beading removed from window frame of ground floor bathroom window.  Entire glass panel removed to access the property.  Untidy search made. 
  • Rossmore
  • Percival Road – Property entered by unknown means via rear kitchen door.  Clothesline tipped over kitchen floor but no other signs of disturbance.  Nothing appears to have been taken.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • St. Pauls
  • Thelwall Road – Window in kitchen door smashed to gain entry.  Untidy search of entire property. Jewellery and cash taken.
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Stokesay Court – Front door to property has words carved onto it by unknown offender.
  • Rossmore
  • Grosvenor Wharf Road – Unknown offender entered the communal area of ‘Quayside’ and removed a fuse from electricity cupboard, preventing electricity supply to one of the flats.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Neston
  • Raby Park Road – Two unknown males on a motorcycle pulled up next to the bike shed at Neston High School. One male entered the bike shed and cut the lock from a blue and yellow Marin Bob Cat Trail 3, which was then taken.
Theft
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Arthur Avenue – Parcel left by delivery driver taken by unknown offender.
  • Rossmore
  • Worcester Walk – Unknown offender accesses communal area of flats and takes a black Viceroy mountain bike.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Neston
  • Raby Park Road – Two unknown males on a motorcycle pulled up next to the bike shed at Neston High School. Whilst one bike has been taken (see theft) a Carrera Vengeance has also been damaged, leaving a bent wheel and snapped gears.
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Green Lane – Insecure Ford Transit entered and gardening equipment and tools taken. – Property located hidden under bushes on McGarva Way.
  • Strawberry
  • Kinnington Way – Mazda 3, parked on residential driveway has both registration plates, showing DE14 XKO taken.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Shotwick Lane – Iveco Daily van has a Stihl hedge trimmer removed from the vehicle after access gained via a side shutter.
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Selby Green – Access gained into Vauxhall Zafira by unknown means and wallet taken.
  • Grange
  • College Avenue – Renault Clio, parked outside residential property has both registration plates, showing LV07 KFX taken.
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Neston
  • Hinderton Road – Window smashed on Mitsubishi L200 by unknown offender.
  • St. Pauls
  • Brook Road – Whilst passing a Mercedes E320, parked at the roadside a group of unknown males pull off the wing mirror.  The males ran off after being confronted.
  • Wilmslow Drive – Wing mirror kicked of a Vauxhall Corsa by a group of passing youths on bikes.
  • Woodchurch Lane – Ford Fiesta has rear panel scratched.
