Ellesmere Port & Neston Police News Bulletin
16 to 24 April 2020
If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided.
Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Princes Road – Scrape marks found on door and window in what appears to have been an unsuccessful attempt to gain entry.
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Oldfield Road – Living room window smashed with a brick.
  • Stanney Mill Lane – Padlock broken off storage unit.
  • Stirling Court – Wheelie bin set alight.  Damage also caused to fencing.
  • Caernarvon Court – Wheelie bin set alight.
  • Stafford Gardens – Wheelie bin set alight.
  • Rossmore
  • South Pier Road – Boat, moored in lower basin of ‘Boat Museum’ has lock broken off cabin door to gain access and porthole smashed. 
  • Colemere Court – Single pane of glass in double glazed unit smashed.
  • Netherpool
  • Bailey Avenue – field to rear has grass set alight.
  • St. Pauls
  • Hawthorn Road – Wheelie bin set alight.
  • Sutton
  • Wyndham Crescent – Cowling broken from around chimney.
  • Sutton Way – Window of flat smashed.
  • Grange
  • Festival Road – Window smashed.
  • Tennyson Road – Brick thrown through living room window.
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Raby Court – Whilst attending premises maintenance worker has him hammer taken by an unknown male.
  • Heathfield Road – Motorbike, parked up in grounds of Heathfield Court has its cover removed and taken by an unknown offender.
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Burton Road – Insecure rear garden entered and petrol wacker plate taken.
  • Parkgate
  • Parkgate Road – During the early hours of the morning a garden of a property within grounds of ‘Parkgate House’ entered and garden furniture taken. – Furniture located dumped in the marshes.
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Hooton Road – Grey ‘Swissport’ laptop rucksack, containing Apple MacBook Pro, taken, after having been left unattended outside ‘Hooton railway station'. 
  • St. Pauls
  • Chester Road – Lead removed from the roof of ‘Perfection Hairdressers’. 
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT OF motor vehicles:
  • Grange
  • Sutton Way – Blue Ford Fiesta, KF06 YBG taken by unknown means. – Vehicle found on Capenhurst Lane.
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Stafford Gardens – BMW 1156 has windscreen smashed by unknown object.
  • Newton Road – Ford Transit set alight by unknown offender.
  • Stanney Lane – Toyota Auris has all four tyres punctured and wing mirror broken off.
  • Harlech Court – 3 vehicles, all belonging to different residents found with damage to their windows. 
    • BMW 520D  
    • Renault Clio
    • Vauxhall Insignia.
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Well Lane – Peugeot 207, parked on road outside address damaged by another vehicle, which has made contact with it whilst being driven. – Named suspect
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • J6, M5/S - Whilst being driven a green motorcycle has driven up to vehicle (no further details at this time) and kicked the door, leaving a dent, before riding off.
