Information sent on behalf of Cheshire Constabulary

Good morning
Do you live, work or volunteer in Winsford and want to work together for the good of your community?  If so, we’d love to invite you to a ‘ROC Conversation’ community engagement event on Wednesday 25th March at Lifestyle Centre, Winsford from 7pm – 9pm.
Who are ROC?
Redeeming Our Communities is a national charity founded in 2004 with 200 projects throughout the UK. We want to help transform communities by creating great partnerships to help reduce crime and anti-social behaviour, to make everyone feel valued and included and to bring fresh hope to local areas.
What is a ROC Conversation?
A ROC Conversation is a positive 2-hour community event that brings together local people and encourages them to celebrate all the good things happening in their community, explore the current needs and look at how these could be practically met by working together.
Cheshire Police & Crime Commissioner have commissioned ROC to organise the event in Winsford.   We invite residents, school and youth representatives, charities & volunteer groups, police & fire service, churches & faith groups, councillors & MPs and anyone else who would like to come!  It’s a great chance to meet with others who are already doing great things and to start an Action Group to support what’s already happening and to start new projects too (please click here to watch a short video of what to expect – from a recent event in Ellesmere Port).
How do I book?
If you have already booked your free place, we look forward to welcoming you to the ROC Conversation.
