Anti-Social Behaviour
Off road bikes are still causing issues around Norton South specifically on Riddings Lane we do still have Op Scrambler on going but reports on these bikes are very low. These bike always head off the field on the footpath towards Masseyfield Road.
These Irresponsible careless riders continue to cause distress to local residents. We are gathering intelligence in relation to the owners of these vehicles. If you have any information in relation to this there are several ways you can let us know see below on how you can send information regarding any issues you have below.

Street of the week
Mooring Close on Murdishaw has had a leaflet drop followed by house to house after concerns raised about groups of males in the area allegedly dealing drugs and taking drugs. We are working along with partner agencies to deal with this issues and if you have any intelligence you can send to me on the email address below if you wish to remain anonymous let me know.

Roads Policing
I continue with Tru-Cam enforcement on Murdishaw Avenue. The speed limit is 30 mile an hour.
I am also moving forward with the issues raised by residents both driving and pedestrians on the junction of the Jack Search Way (the new Aldi).
Brookvale primary
I have been giving some attention to this area at the morning drop off on the Northwich Road side of the school. Persistent total disregard for residents by parking across driveways, on the bend and blocking footpaths a ticket has been issued to one vehicle. I have asked politely and advised.

Community News
We have been very lucky on Brookvale to have ROC (Redeeming Our Communities) project that has begun on the Brookvale/Sutton Park Estates
Are main drive is to get more going on at Brookvale Community Centre we have held an event to ask the community what they wanted and it was well attended.
Although Wednesday 25th 10am to 1pm September we held an Age Well event which had lots of agencies and support groups there was free tea, coffee and cakes unfortunately the turnout was poor and it was a specific event that was asked for by the community
All events will be advertised through Brookvale Junior School the Children’s Centre, local shops, social media also here on Cheshire Alert.
We also have a community clean up being organised details to follow
We have several volunteers but need more residents to volunteer and support.
If you are interested in joining the Residents Association please let me know
We want to build a stronger and safer community reducing mental health stigma, poor health, boredom and loneliness. Looking at solutions and projects that may help.

We are keen over the coming months to try and advertise the introduction of Neighbourhood Watch schemes on Norton South via the Cheshire Alert web page. If any members of Cheshire Alert would like to set-up and become a coordinator of a watch scheme then we as the police will offer support and advice in any way we can, my e-mail is attached at the bottom of this newsletter and I look forward to hearing from anyone who wishes to set-up a scheme that we can get involved with.
