Friends Against Scams

Alert message sent 08/08/2019 22:21:00

Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch

Dear Neighbourhood Watch Coordinator,

One of the most valuable ways in which we can help to prevent ourselves and our neighbours from becoming victims of crime is to stay up to date with the ways in which fraudsters attempt to steal from us through scams. Neighbourhood Watch have partnered with Friends Against Scams to help take a stand against scams and raise awareness of these devastating crimes against the people in our communities.

Would you know how to spot victims of scams? Take the 20 minute training session now at www.FriendsAgainstScams.org.uk/elearning/NeighbourhoodWatch to brush up your knowledge and help to protect those around you!

It's completely free, and you could join 260,000 people who have already become Friends Against Scams since 2016.

Regards,

Ian Walton, Neil Wrench, Joan Gibbison, Julia Griffiths, Clare Harrison, Heather Thompson
