Ellesmere Port & Neston Police News Bulletin
26th May to 5th June 2019
  
If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided.
 
Burglary
Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
 
  • Grange
  • Pooltown Road - Permission given to 2 males to remove items left outside property from a recent renovation.  Males have then entered the property and taken an IPhone and cash. 
Incidents reported relating to BUSINESS premises:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Stanney Lane – Tree log used to smash rear window in fire escape to gain entry.  Alarm has then sounded and offender has made off. – 3rd incident reported having occurred on consecutive nights. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Hooton Road – Storage containers at building site next to train station entered by breaking through doors.  Tools taken from within.
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Ewloe Court – Unknown males have forced entry to flat by kicking the door open.  Disturbed by other resident and ran off.
  • Whitby Road – Rear gate of property damaged by unknown offender/s where it has been smashed from its hinges, also causing damage to the properties brickwork upon which it had been attached.
  • Rossmore
  • Church Street – Brick thrown at window. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • St. Pauls
  • Eccleston Avenue – Living room window damaged, possibly by a pellet as small hole found in the top of the glass.
  • Grange
  • Sutton Way – 2 youths have torn an advert from one of the advertising trailers within the grounds of ‘West Cheshire College’. – 1 named suspect.
  • Pooltown Road – Barrier and security light at ‘The Acorns Primary School’ damaged by 2 unknown teenagers.
Theft
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Wellington Road – Insecure red and orange Carrera mountain bike, left in bike shed outside ‘ Asda’ taken.
  • Thornton Road – Approx. 14 new fencing panels, put along the edge of the field taken. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Waterford Drive – Neighbouring properties have garden plants taken from garden during overnight period.
    • 2 small Christmas trees in orange planters taken from the front of the house.
    • Hanging baskets taken.
  • Parkgate
  • The Parade – 3 bicycles, no further details at this time, taken from the basement of Parkgate House Court by 3 youths.
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT OF motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Coliseum Way – Toyota Yaris, DA05 WTL, Parked on carpark near to cinema taken.
  • Rossmore
  • Grafton Road – Ford Focus CMax ET08 HKN, parked outside residential address taken by unknown means. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Grange
  • Sutton Way – Lexmoto FMR 125, MW16 LFE, parked outside residential address taken.
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Rossmore
  • Rossmore Road East - 6 motor homes at ‘Lakeland Motorhome Centre’ entered and satalitte dish, tv and air conditioning units taken from within. – CCTV confirmed an vehicle which had been involved and 3 males subsequently arrested. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Netherpool
  • Westenra Avenue – Ford Fiesta has front registration plate, showing YX63 UJG taken.
  • St. Pauls
  • Chester Road – Renault Clio, YA56 YAS has rear registration plate taken whilst parked at ‘Ellesmere Port Golf Club’. 
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Enfield Road – Mini Cooper has passenger side wing mirror kicked off by passing youth.
