Ellesmere Port & Neston Police News Bulletin
14th to 18th April 2019
  
If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided.
 
Burglary
 Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Netherpool
  • Rivacre Road – Window smashed at rear of property to gain entry. Living room window opened and TV passed out to a waiting male who has loading it into the vehicle before leaving.  The other male has remained in the property and confronted attending officers. – Male arrested. 
Incidents reported relating to BUSINESS premises:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Rossmore
  • Oak Street – Entry forced into property by removing padlock.  6 x bags of copper, lawn mower and various hand tools, including spades, sledge hammer, axe and screw drivers taken. 
Incidents reported relating to OUTBUILDINGS/GARDENS:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Cromwell Road – Bolted gate to property found open and padlock removed from shed, although no entry gained.
  • Exeter Road – Detached garage has door forced open.  Nothing appears to have been taken.
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Wellington Road – Damage caused to signage at bus station. – Named suspect.
  • Exeter Road – To the rear of the old ‘Knot’ PH a boundary wall has been knocked down. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Netherpool
  • Naylor Green – Rear ground floor window smashed.
  • St. Pauls
  • Alvanley Road – Oil sprayed into rear garden covering gazebo and garden table and chairs. 
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT OF motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Oldfield Road – Gen MOTO XRZ, BX17 VSO, parked at roadside taken. – *Believed recovered by Police – Offenders made off on other stolen bike.
  • Rossmore
  • Grosvenor Mews – Entry gained into to side of property via locked gate.  Secured Suzuki GSF 1250, PO61 CMX taken after chain cut through. - *Same offenders. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Netherpool
  • Thornleigh Drive – Lex Moto Titan, MA17 BXP taken from front garden of property.
  • Sutton
  • Rostherne Avenue – Silver Vauxhall Zafira, DH16 AEV stolen by unknown means. – Male arrested in Merseyside and vehicle recovered.
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Cambridge Road – BMW entered by unknown means.  Thorough search made within and wallet taken. 
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Sutton
  • Northern Rise – Vauxhall Astra has wing mirrors broken off vehicle by group walking past.
