The event is on Thursday, 16 May from 10am to 4pm at Northwich Memorial Court and residents from across the borough looking for employment or a new career direction are invited to attend.

The event is free and will provide great opportunities to connect with more than 25 local employers and gain knowledge of the local job vacancies in the Northwich and Winsford area. Employers on hand to talk about opportunities include:
  • Barclays banking group
  • Nat West banking group
  • The Hut Group
  • B & M Distribution
  • Thomas Truck Training Ltd
  • Morrisons Distribution
  • Tesco supermarket
  • Hermes parcel delivery and courier service
  • Wates construction
  • Weaver Vale Housing Trust
Cheshire West and Chester Council's Director of Place Strategy, Lisa Harris, said: "The Council is committed to ensuring that everybody who wants to gain employment has the right support to find the job that's right for them.

"The number of people that our Work Zones have helped into employment has risen year on year and we're very proud of the advice we and our partners can offer.

"This is a fantastic opportunity for residents to learn more about local employers and find out what opportunities there are within the local area. Employers will run workshops throughout the day where residents will be able to hear what their business has to offer, along with what they are looking for in successful employees."
